Did you know that there are nearly 15,000 licensed nail technicians in Oregon? The Oregon Collaborative for Healthy Nail Salons (OCHNS) works to improve the environmental health of nail salon workers and customers through education and outreach.
We hope to create solutions
to challenges faced in the industry that relate to environmental,
health and safety by sharing ideas, knowledge and practical
experience. Although members of OCHNS include state agencies,
the Collaborative has no regulatory authority and does not inspect or
